Pactiv Evergreen and AmSty are working hard to build an EPS recycling system - which will double the efficiency with the hydraulic compactor

Pactiv Evergreen, North America's leading fresh food and beverage packaging manufacturer, is working with AmSty to build a professional and effective EPS recycling system. AmSty is not only a leading integrated manufacturer of styrene monomer and polystyrene, providing sustainable solutions and services to customers in various markets around the world, but it is also a pioneer in polystyrene recycling. The two companies are currently working together to make EPS packaging more recyclable: Based on a mass balance approach, selected Pactiv Evergreen packaging will be manufactured using AmSty’s ISCC PLUS certified recycled polystyrene, which also provides greater convenience and possibility for subsequent recycling.

Recycling EPS packaging actually involves many steps. In addition to the cooperation between upstream suppliers and customers mentioned above, the entire EPS recycling process also requires the support of recycling equipment and ensuring the end-use of EPS recycled material. These two important INTCO Recycling and its machinery brands can help realize this and present you with a real EPS recycling system. As the demand for recycling continues to expand, GREENMAX continues to design and develop new equipment. Among them, the hydraulic compactor is a new recycling equipment released in the past year.

Different from GREENMAX's previous styles, the hydraulic compactor no longer uses screw extrusion or hot melt. Instead of compressing the EPS, hydraulic pressure is used to help reduce the volume of the EPS. Not only is it an innovation in technical support, the materials this equipment can handle are not limited to EPS, and the types of waste it can handle have also become wider. The compression ratio of the hydraulic compactor can reach 70:1. The compressed waste is easier to transport and saves a large part of the transportation cost.

The compressed EPS becomes dense and neat. Only such waste can meet the requirements of transportation. This is also a raw material that many manufacturers need to purchase in large quantities. INTCO Recycling, as a waste user terminal, has been steadily purchasing large quantities from various countries around the world all year round. Help build a stable EPS recycling system and provide total solutions to global customers!
