Due to the vigorous development of online retail and e-commerce, goods have been traded across regions and even across borders, so the use and demand of EPE in this economic field is increasing. 

EPE foam helps keep cargo safe from impact by absorbing shocks during transportation. When EPE foam is used as product packaging, special sizes and shapes are required to better fulfill the mission. Because of this, EPE leftovers are constantly produced in large quantities in the foam cutting industry.

In order to provide precise protection for different goods, the foam cutting industry needs to carry out packaging and cutting according to the general shape of the goods, and even some expensive goods require more rigorous special-shaped cutting, and these leftovers become useless garbage, they are usually collected, and along with ordinary household garbage are permanently buried in the ground, although this kind of foam cannot be degraded, but for various reasons, people still choose to do so.
