CRC recycling center in the Wollongong area will be better with the support of a polystyrene compactor

Recycling polystyrene has become a global trend and even a fad in the recycling business. Although polystyrene is difficult to recycle, it has not stopped the enthusiasm of residents in the Wollongong area. As part of Wollongong City Council's focus on environmental sustainability, the city is taking steps to keep polystyrene out of the landfill.

From April this year, Wollongong residents will be able to send their polystyrene to our Council Community Recycling Centre (CRC) at our Kembla Grange waste station for recycling. The recycling campaign ensures that the polystyrene waste generated in residents' lives has a place to go. Residents can put any polystyrene into the CRC's containers, which will be collected and distributed to Waste Pro, who will handle the subsequent processing of the polystyrene. Thanks to the technical development of polystyrene compactors, people can recycle polystyrene very efficiently. The concept of "polystyrene cannot be recycled" is outdated, and the era of polystyrene recycling has come!

Wollongong Mayor Councilor Gordon Bradbery AM said recycling polystyrene was important because it was not biodegradable and could easily threaten the health of marine life and humans. "Recycling polystyrene is not easy, but it is possible. Rather than letting it take up space in our landfills, polystyrene can be recycled into raw materials that can create new products," Cr Bradbery said.

The polystyrene compactor is specially designed to solve the problem of reducing the volume of polystyrene. GREENMAX polystyrene integrates crushing, compression, and cutting, which brings great convenience to customers who have recycling needs. The volume of waste polystyrene processed by the polystyrene compactor is compressed to 1/50 of the original volume, which is convenient for storage and transportation.

Polystyrene catering containers that can be recycled by CRC must be kept clean, which is easier for residents who generate small amounts of food packaging. And if Waste Pro starts accepting dirty food packaging from recycling stations, this part of waste will far exceed waste from households. In response to this problem, GREENMAX provides cleaning equipment to clean polystyrene. In addition to the polystyrene compactor, GREENMAX also designs and manufactures a variety of related recycling equipment. Cutting-edge recycling technology and years of recycling experience are essential conditions for GREENMAX to become a well-known American machinery brand.
