A solution for recycling high-density foam using customized Foam Densifier

In modern packaging, transportation, shockproof, anti-collision and other fields, high-density foam materials (such as EPE, EPP, EVA, etc.) are widely used in electronic product packaging, furniture protection, auto parts and other industries due to their excellent elasticity, cushioning and strength. However, once these foam materials become waste, they pose great challenges to recycling due to their large size, difficult to degrade, and difficult to compress.

In order to improve treatment efficiency and realize resource reuse, Foam Densifier is an important tool for recycling high-density foam.

What is HDF?

High-density foams typically refer to foams with a higher density than traditional EPS, including:

EPE (Expanded Polyethylene) pearl cotton

EPP (Expanded Polypropylene) expanded polypropylene

EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) expanded ethylene vinyl acetate

These foams are more resistant to compression, cushioning, and heat, but they are also more heat-resistant, difficult to decompose, and difficult to effectively handle with traditional compression equipment.

Foam Densifier Recycling Principles and Benefits

Foam Densifier melts and compresses loose foam waste into high-density strips or brick-like materials through heating and screw extrusion, achieving the dual goals of volume reduction and resource reuse.

In addition to using pure hot melt technology to support the foam densifier, GREENMAX is currently combining the foam densifier with a water-cooling system, which is currently being tested by a Japanese customer. In fact, this kind of recycling equipment is not the first time that it has been put into the market, and there is also a recycling equipment based on foam densifier combined with a water cooling system that has helped customers recycle in Japan, not only that, but this equipment has also achieved the "recycling mission" in Europe and the United States.

This time this recycling equipment will be put into the Japanese market to process the material density is high, so in the crushing step has made a special design, using the design of double-stage crushing, which is to make the hot melt link more thorough, GREENMAX welcomes customers to put forward opinions, we will try our best to help achieve customized needs.
