Plastic Foam Boxes Cup will Disappear from the Local People in the Line of Sight

With a new bill recently signed by the mayor of New York. Foam food lunch boxes and cups will disappear from the sight of the New Yorker in July1 this year. The new bill also make the Chinatown restaurant owners complain of rising costs repeatedly.



The bill was first proposed to prohibit the use of the lunch boxes or Styrofoam cups made of non-recyclable materials, a great impact on the environment, and the use of toxic materials which have great harm on health. New York City each year have about 23,000 tons of foam to be thrown away, and these foam plastics in landfills to go through quite a long time to be degraded.



With the signing of Bills, New York has also become the disabled foam lunch boxes city after San Francisco, Seattle and other cities. As a result, the restaurants and grocery stores are directly affected as they could not keep restaurants run without the take-away boxes and plastic disposable plastic cups.



Flexible foam plastic is the basic component and a polymeric material containing a large amount of bubbles, and therefore can be regarded as a gas as filler composite plastic. Compared with pure plastic, this material has many excellent properties, such as light weight and high strength, which can absorb impact load, good thermal and acoustic insulation properties. Thus, it has been widely used in industry, agriculture, construction, transportation and other fields.



Plastic foam can be divided into soft, hard and semi-rigid foam. Rigid foam insulation can be made into insulation materials, pipes and containers of insulation materials, floating materials and shock-absorbing packaging materials. Flexible foam can be used as foam artificial leather. The commonly used materials include polyurethane foam, polystyrene, polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene, phenolic foam and the alike.
